Where Do I Enlist

The armed forces of the United States are a highly regarded military force that is revered and respected because of the sacrifices they make to protect our nation. There are several branches of the armed forces because each branch specializes in the protection of a certain atmosphere. The soldiers in the military are given orders and they are to follow them without question. Now, because we are human this can breed corruption and injustice. However, we as soldiers in the Army of the Lord are governed by a righteous Commander in Chief and His decrees, assignments and instructions should always be met with, “Yes, Lord!”

Deuteronomy 20:1-4:

1 When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you. 2 When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army. 3 He shall say: “Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them. 4 For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”

1 Corinthians 12:12

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.

NOTE: When all is said and done, each soldier in Christ must realize the gifts/assignment you have are not what you do, it is who you are. Until acceptance of what God put you on the earth to do is attained, you risk being in a double-minded state, which the Word tells us is a recipe for instability. A soldier cannot have unsure footing. Realize the gifts/assignment God has given you is WHO YOU ARE and NOT what you do.
